Single Risks can be underwritten in their own right under the following Cause of Loss groups:
Political Risk:
Unforeseen Political Events in the host country or a third country (e.g. war, civil war, revolution) A Political Decision in the host country or a third country (e.g. an arbitrary decision on the part of a public buyer/supplier; non- respect of an arbitration award; boycott, embargo, cancellation of licenses; non-transfer, currency inconvertibility)
Credit Risk:
Failure of a client, supplier or private borrower (typically insolvency)Non payment
